OEM & ODM Services For Your Protective Covers.
TL;DR: On September 12, 2026, JK Covers donated magnetic fender covers to the Holy Redeemer Parish Festival Car Show in Jenison, Michigan — an event the organizers expected to draw 60 to 90 vehicles and more than 350 festival visitors. They sent back photos from the show field, and those photos make the case for the product better than any studio shot: six very different cars, hoods up, engine work under way, and the covers doing exactly the job they were built for.
A fender cover has one job: to stand between a sharp, heavy, oily human activity and a painted surface. Car shows create that condition on purpose.
Hoods go up. Owners lean across a front fender to reach a carburettor, a battery terminal or a distributor. A belt buckle, a zip, a watch, a wrench or a dropped socket all end up in the same few square centimetres of paint. Then the owner wipes the fender down with a rag that has been on the ground.
At a show, every one of those cars is a project someone finished — often the week before. That is the moment a fender cover stops being an accessory and starts being insurance.
We sent magnetic fender covers to the event's raffle. The construction is deliberately unglamorous, because it has to survive this exact environment:
Across the range, the material runs from waterproof PU to 600D Oxford depending on the program, and the attachment comes in more than one configuration — including a six-magnet version and an eleven-magnet microfiber-leather set for detailing work.
The organizers photographed the covers on the cars through the afternoon. Here is what a fender cover looks like when it is not being posed.
A pre-war sedan in black — the hardest paint to keep clean and the easiest to mark. The cover sits over the front fender the way it would in a workshop: flat, aligned, and clearly not going anywhere.
A maroon Ford pickup with the hood up. On a truck this tall, the fender is not just a fender — it is the bench you work from. Long covers matter here, because the reach across that engine bay is real.
Four more cars from the same afternoon — a metallic-blue Chevrolet coupe, a 1950s two-tone Chevrolet, a red coupe and a small blue roadster. The cover does not care which one it is on. That is the point of a universal product: a fender is a fender, and the cover that fits a classic fits a coupe.
The three things that decide whether a fender cover earns its keep:
We participate in community events and club raffles where a fender cover is genuinely useful, and requests like this one are welcome.
If you organize a car show, a club raffle or a community event and would like to ask about a donation, write to us at info@jkcorp.cn or use the contact page. Including the event date, expected attendance and how the item will be used makes it straightforward to answer.
For automotive businesses rather than events, the same line is the entry point for custom and private-label programs — custom sizing, your branding on the cover, and a production run sized to your program.
1. What is a magnetic fender cover for? It protects a painted fender surface while you work over it — engine maintenance, detailing, dent repair, or simply leaning into an engine bay. It also keeps your clothes cleaner and cuts the cleanup afterwards.
2. Will a magnet damage the paint? A clean magnet with a soft backing does not scratch paint. The real risk is grit trapped between the cover and the panel. Wipe the fender before you fit the cover, and the magnet is not the problem.
3. What if my car has an aluminium or plastic fender? A magnet has nothing to grip. Use a sandbag-weighted cover instead, which holds by weight rather than magnetism.
4. Can a fender cover carry a club or event logo? Yes. Custom sizing and branding are part of the OEM and ODM service, which is how covers are produced for club merchandise, distributors and private-label programs.
5. Do you donate to car shows? We do, where a fender cover is genuinely useful to the event. Contact us with the event details and we will tell you quickly whether it is something we can support.
Six cars, one afternoon, and a product judged by whether the paint underneath stayed perfect. That is a better test than a studio photograph, and it is why we like putting covers into places where people actually use them.
